4th Grade:
Today the students worked with their paragraph My Autobiography. This time they were able to re-write it without lines or mistakes. They were also told that incidentally, they were learning how to write by using the 5 steps of writing. Pre-writing ( questions and answers), drafting ( English page), revising (paragraph with lines to complete) and editing (by re-writing without lines or mistakes. The last step will be publishing and sharing. This one is the one they will be handing out on Sept 5th with their oral report.

Today the teacher revised the student notebook to see if they have answered the 12 questions that were given yesterday. 12pts. Today we explore how much they know about the topic. It was explained on the board orally.

Today students worked in groups. They choose 5 blends and 5 digraphs.  Then they looked through the dictionary for 5 words for each blend and each digraph. As they work in groups, they divided the work. This task has a value of 10 pts. The group work is also going to be evaluated. (10 more points)
Tomorrow they will work an assessment and they will need today's information. If the student didn't finish in the classroom, please help him or her to do it for tomorrow. Tomorrow's assessment has a value of 30 pts. The whole task value will be 50 pts.
