Good Morning!

4th Grade: 
Today students review the song of question words (Mr. Bear). The teacher explains the difference between each question word and for what type of questions they are used for.

Theme: Question words
1. Who: is used to ask for a person.
Ex. Who is she? She is Maria.
2, What: is used to ask information.
Ex. What is that? That is a pencil.
3. Where: is used to ask for a place.
Ex. Where is he? He is in his room.
4. Why: is used to ask for a reason or explanation.
Ex. Why she was absent? Because she was sick.
5. How: is used to ask about feelings or transportation.
Ex. How do you feel? I feel good
       How do you get there? By plane.
6. Which: is used to ask to compare or choose.
Which color do you like: red or blue? I like red.
7. How much: is used to ask about quantity. (can't count)
Ex. How much sugar can I borrow?
8. How many: is used to ask about quantity. (Can count)
How many pencils I have? You have two pencils.

 Today students review the definition given. The teacher explains what is a subject, a predicate and how to identify them. Then students worked with some exercises

Instructions: Draw one line for the subject and two lines for the predicate.
